New Member of the Month: Stephanie M. -  6/22/2010

Kris I. is the Member of the Month! -  5/11/2010
Kristin – or better known as Kris – has taken a very active role in the club! Kris got her undergrad in international studies and French from Allegheny College and now spends her days working on the Hill for the House of Representatives. She loves to travel, especially after studying abroad in France, and has an obsession with Chicago sports. Kris is always a smiling face at club events and we’re glad to have her!


Jackie I. Honored as Member of the Month -  3/18/2010
Jackie I. was honored as member of the month this past month. A recent graduate of George Washington University and past Circle K member, Jackie has taken a very active role in the club. Jackie got her undergrad in economics and now works for the Federal Reserve Board. When she’s not studying and shopping, she is busy attending a DCYP event! Jackie makes a fine addition to the club and we’re glad to have her!


Amanda G. Honored as February's Member of the Month! -  2/17/2010
Amanda was honored at the last general meeting as February's Member of the Month. Amanda was given this honor due to her commitment and dedication to the club and community.


DCYP inducts 13 new members! -  2/17/2010
DCYP Kiwanis inducted 13 new members at its February 17 meeting. "New members for our club mean new ideas, new enthusiasm, greater fellowship, and, of course, greater service," President Troy said at the induction ceremony. A big welcome to every new club member!


DCYP Launches Montage on youtube.com! -  3/1/2009
DCYP Kiwanis recently launched a video montage on youtube that is composed of pictures taken at events, highlighting the fellowship, service and friendship that binds our club together. Click here to see the video.


DCYP Kiwanis featured in USA Today -  6/30/2008
In an article entitled "Service clubs update to woo young members", USA Today writer Haya El Nasser writes that many service clubs around the country are retooling to focus on the next generation. Our club is highlighted as a civic organization that focuses on empowering younger people to help the community and make friends on a schedule that is flexible.
